29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses eye protection that provides side protection when there is a hazard from flying objects. Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable. (a) 49 Runyon Rd, Hummelstown, PA 17036 - Residential Roof - On or about May 4, 2026, employees were not wearing eye protection while they used pneumatic nail guns, exposed to struck-by flying objects hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
