29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: At the workplace located at 1125 East Fourth Avenue, Hutchinson, Kansas, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. The employer did not ensure that powered industrial trucks used to move materials at the warehouse were adequately inspected daily to discover equipment defects prior to start of shift. The Hyster J40XNT [#20] forklift truck in the kitting department of the warehouse had inoperable brake lights. The Yale OS030EFN24TE095 [#8] order selector lift truck in the LTL department of the warehouse had an inoperable strobe light.
