Section 5(s)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being electrocuted due to the ungrounded steel frame building under construction: a) Roof and Frame of Building for Constitution Pavillion - iron workers observed erecting an aluminum roof on steel columns. Observed 5/21/87 NOTE: A feasible method of abatement would be to drive a ground rod into the earth and attach it to the building frame.
