Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
Employee # 1 performed routine emergency room nurse duties utilizing COVID-19 precautions. He had been on leave prior to contracting COVID-19. Employee # 1 called in to the employer's COVID hotline at work and reported feeling sick after contracting COVID-19 from an unknown source. Employee # 1 tested positive for COVID-19. At 12:15 p.m. on August 14, 2021, Employee #1 died as a result of related symptoms.
