Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
On August 6, 2021, an employee who had worked as a Nurses Aide in a Health Center Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Room died from COVID-19. The employee had been providing care to COVID-19 positive patients prior to contracting COVID-19. The employer did not have an effective COVID-19 Prevention Program in place.
