Employee amputates finger in laminating machine
Investigation abstract
At 11:30 am on November 9, 2021, an employee was operating a tabletop laminating machine for transformers. The employee reached under the machine to realign the wire on a transformer coil. His finger was caught where the metal lamination plates were automatically inserted into the transformer coil. The tip of the employee's left middle finger got amputated. The employee was treated without hospitalization.
