Investigation abstract
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on February 11, 2022, an employee was attempting to unjam a hide that was stuck in the down puller. The employee's thumb became stuck in the down-puller machine. The employee suffered a partial amputation to right thumb. The employee was hospitalized to treat these injuries.
