Employee falls from ladder and strikes head on concrete ledg

Investigation abstract

At 1:15 p.m. on October 27, 2024, a crew of four was installing insulated metal paneling around a horizontal beam. Employee #1 was working approximately 18 feet high on a 28-foot ladder when he lost his footing and fell to the ground, striking his head on a concrete ledge. Emergency services transported the employee to the hospital, where he was admitted for head trauma and later died from his injuries.
