An employee was helping to load cargo pallets onto an aircraft. The pallets were placed onto a K-loader, and the employee was preparing the cargo to be pushed onto the plane. He lost his balance and fell 8 feet from the work deck onto the asphalt tarmac. He was unconscious and bleeding from the nose, head, and mouth. He also broke his wrist. The employee was hospitalized.
