On May 9, 2015, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a maintenance employee was hospitalized after receiving fractures to his left hand. He was injured when he reached into an access panel for the 1951 freight elevator to operate a manual override due to the outer set of doors not opening. The elevator moved, and his hand got caught between the elevator and shaft.
