A sanitation employee was working on a steel ladder cleaning the outside of a conveyor frame. The employee slipped while working on the steel ladder and his right hand got caught in the running chain and sprocket. His right hand index and middle fingers were severed. The injured employee was transported to the hospital for treatment.
