At 12:00 p.m., on June 26, 2017, an employee was removing a piece of steel from a hydraulic saw vice when the saw vice activated and closed on his left hand, pinching it between a piece of steel and the vice jaw. His left index, ring, and pinky fingers were lacerated, and his index finger had to be amputated near the second joint.
