While walking, an employee was struck by an order picker. His left
foot went under the right-front corner of the bumper plate. The forklift stopped immediately and the injured employee was able to pull his foot out from under the truck and was taken to the hospital. Surgery was performed to reset broken bones and reattach
ligaments in the foot.
