An employee was operating a forklift to transport a pallet of shoddy pads when the boxes of shoddy pads fell off the pallet. The employee stopped the lift and was trying to exit from the right side when the employee tripped over the levers and pedal and started to fall. The employee grabbed a rack with the right hand to stop themselves from falling to the ground. However, the employee continued to fall while holding onto the rack. The force exerted on the employee's right arm caused a compound fracture.
