On January 30, 2019, at approximately 4:27 PM, an employee was exiting his tractor-trailer at the truck stop, slipped on an icy L bracket on the truck and fell. He proceeded to disconnect the trailer. While cranking down on the legs of the trailer, which were frozen because of the temperature, he felt pressure and heard a pop. The employee was hospitalized for a hernia.
