An employee was cutting concrete with a masonry saw and using a garden hose to spray water directly on the blade to control dust. The saw became stuck and jumped out of its cut channel, striking the employee in the right upper thigh. The employee suffered a thigh laceration requiring surgery, as well as damaged thigh muscle and tissue.
