An employee was stepping onto an angled piece of metal to reach/wash off the gravity table when he slipped, reached to catch himself, and his left hand contacted the drive head roll belt, resulting in lacerations to the top of his left hand and a boxer's fracture. He required surgery to repair tendon damage.
