An employee was taking a piece of cut material off a hydraulic vise machine and asked a second employee to help. The second employee accidentally pushed the wrong button and activated the machine. The injured employee's hand was crushed between points of contact on the hydraulic vise, resulting in a partial amputation of the left ring finger and a crushed middle finger.
