An employee was trying to get wheel parts to feed down into a bucket below a storage rack. The bin needed to be reoriented so the parts door would open; a powered industrial truck was brought over to pull out the container and turn it 45 degrees. When the container moved, a finger on the employee's right hand was caught between the bin and the steel rack. The fingertip was medically amputated.
