An employee was repairing a sand blaster machine. After the sand blaster was reassembled, the employee then turned on the generator to check the pressure. The employee went back to check the drum and air was escaping. The employee noticed that the hose was slipping off. The employee grabbed the hose and it slipped off and struck the employee on the left side of the head resulting in a laceration and a swollen left eye.
