On July 9, 2021, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an employee was aligning a belt on the press conveyor and attempted to remove a piece of rubber underneath the conveyor when their right middle finger was caught between the cylinder and the conveyor, resulting in amputation at the proximal phalanx. The conveyor was running at the time.
