On October 29, 2024, an employee was operating a conveyor in the processing department when a piece of rubber became caught under the conveyor and pulley drum. The employee went to remove the rubber when their left arm became caught in the machine between the rotating drum and the running conveyor belt, resulting in a laceration and fracture to their hand and forearm. The machine was energized and not guarded.
