An employee was at a jobsite repairing a truck that had broken down. The employee was in the median of a service road and had a cone behind the truck being serviced. While working on the truck, the employee was stuck by the bucket of a front-end loader being driven down the service road. The employee was pinned between the side of the bucket and his truck, resulting in amputations of three fingers down to the first joint as well as a broken right femur.
