Employees were clearing die cast lines. The injured employee was reconnecting the hot oil hose to the die frame. The employee pulled on the hose, which came in contact with the hot oil valve and caused hot oil to release. The hot oil struck the employee who suffered third degree burns to the upper right arm, ear, face, and neck. The employee was hospitalized.
