An employee locked out a stacker machine to begin repairs. The employee noticed a piece of metal was jammed in the equipment and attempted to remove the piece of metal. When the piece of metal was removed, an arm on the equipment dropped down due to gravity and pinned the employee's left arm against the frame of the equipment. The employee suffered a crush injury with potential tissue damage.
