On January 29, 2022, at 8:15 a.m., an employee was carrying machine parts for a milling machine while entering a building at the first-floor stairwell. The employee was tripped by the door and the machine parts he was carrying fell. As he tried to catch the parts, the employee's right hand was crushed between the parts and the concrete wall, resulting in lacerations to the ring finger and an amputation of the little finger.
