Final narrative
An employee was working adjacent to a paving machine during a bridge deck pour. While finishing concrete next to a leave out, his boot became stuck in rebar and he tripped and fell into the concrete pour as the paving machine was making a pass. The paving machine's table struck the employee and their left knee was pulled up between the two augers resulting in sprained knee ligaments.
