On November 9, 2022, while troubleshooting a furnace, a bit was pushed from the pre-heating dome and fell to the cart below, striking the injured employee and pinning his left leg between the cart and the bit. The employee's left ankle was fractured and required surgery. The employee also sustained burns to the right hip and thigh, left ankle, and right hand.
