An employee was using a riding mower to mow grass across from a company location. While mowing around a storm drainage ditch and culvert, the mower went off the culvert and the employee was thrown from the mower. The employee sustained transverse fractures of the L1, L2, and L3 vertebrae and was hospitalized.
