An employee and co-workers were pulling a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe through a conduit pipe using an electric puller. The cable and the HDPE pipe became stuck, causing the electric puller to dislodge and strike the employee in the chest. The employee suffered pneumothorax on the right side of their chest as well as a fracture of the sixth rib on their right side.
