On March 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., an employee was pulling wires through a ceiling-mounted conduit while standing on top of a conveyor system. The employee fell into a trash chute approximately 20 feet to another conveyor with a belt, resulting in an L2 spinal fracture requiring surgery. The employee was wearing a harness but was not tied off at the time of the incident.
