An employee was standing on a concave piece of scrap (15 feet long x 8 feet wide x 1 inch thick) he was processing. A second piece of scrap was being moved by scrap handling equipment. The second piece contacted the first piece, causing it to rock. The employee fell, landing on his back. The employee was hospitalized with five broken ribs on the left side.
