On August 5, 2024, an employee was fueling an excavator. He was walking on the excavator tracks to turn the fuel pump on. While walking back down the excavator track, he tripped and fell striking his head on the excavator bucket and causing his safety glasses to become lodged under his right eye. The employee was hospitalized for lacerations to the back of his right eyeball.
