Final narrative
On August 20, 2024, at approximately 12:20 p.m., an employee was performing a metal tapping operation at the metal stamping fabrication station. The employee's left hand was placed on the material being tapped and the rotating bit of the tapping tool caught their left glove, entangling the glove and the employee's left middle finger and resulting in a partial trans-phalangeal amputation and fracture.
