The injured employee was on the ground standing on the left side of a skid steer placing and stabilizing trees on the pallet forks connected to the machine. The skid steer operator turned the machine to prevent the material from becoming unstable and falling from the forks and the track of the skid steer ran over the injured employee's ankle. The injured employee was hospitalized with a fractured ankle.
