On February 4, 2025, at around 8:20 AM, an employee was near a mixer while shoveling concrete down the chute when they moved the shovel back. Their right hand was caught between the mixer and the hopper/chute pouring out the concrete, resulting in the amputation of their index finger and a fractured thumb.
