On May 6, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, an employee was straightening cables of a derrick crane by moving a pulley block to flip it over. The cable moved, causing the injured employee's right hand to be pulled into the block. The employee grabbed his right hand with his left hand and it was also pulled into the block. The employee was hospitalized with multiple fractures and three fingertip amputations.
