During fluid end maintenance, an employee was sliding the seat puller (a hand tool), which was positioned on top of the fluid end, from hole 1 to hole 2. The seat puller fell into hole 2. At the time, the employee s right hand was resting on the fluid end, and their right middle fingertip was pinched between the fluid end and the seat puller. The employee's fingertip was partially amputated.
