An employee had just finished fixing a rooftop air conditioning unit. He was stepping from a platform on the roof onto a fixed ladder when the hand rail became dislodged, causing the employee to lose his grip and fall to the ground/concrete. The employee sustained fractures to his left wrist and the left side of his pelvis.
