An employee was installing PVC piping at a new commercial construction site. The employee was taking measurements at the produce cooler area when he hit the chiller door and tripped on an I-beam that was on the floor holding the refrigeration rack. The employee fell, lost consciousness, and suffered a puncture wound on his left forearm that required hospitalization and surgery.
