Employees stopped the production line due to issues at the crimper where fiber was wrapping around the crimp roller. Employees removed the fiber and the injured employee was sanding the roller when the equipment was jogged. The roll snagged the injured employee s gloved left hand and pinned his hand beneath the roll. He sustained muscle damage in his hand and burns from a hot roller. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
