An employee positioned a trailer, exited their yard truck, and released the door lock. As the door locks were disengaged, the load inside the trailer overcame the doors resistance and forcefully pushed them outward. A wooden pallet and aluminum rims ejected from the trailer and struck the employee. The employee sustained impact trauma to the left frontal area of the forehead, a fracture to the right posterior region of the skull, a fractured left forearm, a fractured left ankle, and a contusion to the right knee.
