An employee was using a powered industrial truck to move steel beams in a yard. They were manually adjusting a steel beam on the forks of the truck when the beam fell approximately 2 feet and caught their right hand against the concrete ground. The beam measured 20 inches wide, 34 feet long, and 6 inches in depth. The employee suffered lacerations to four fingers and fractures to the ring and middle fingers.
