Moving upright crates
What happened
[REDACTED] was trying to move two upright crates together with the electric pallet jack. He was able to get the pallet jack into the first of the upright crates but the crates were too short causing the first upright crate to get stuck on the pallet jack and not allowing him to move the pallet jack into both crates together. At this point he lifted the first crate with the pallet jack off the floor a little bit and grabbed a piece of cardboard to put under one of the side legs of the crate to allow him to pick up both crates. He used the heel of his hand to try to force the cardboard under the leg but it was not moving so he hit the card board with the heel of his hand to try to force it under at which point his hand slipped and his thumb hit the crate causing the injury to his thumb. He stated that his thumb stung and he didn 't think much about it and continued to proceed using his other hand to push in the cardboard and was successful at getting it under the side leg of the crate.
