Operator was running press H8

The press requires a platform approx. 15 in high with steps going up. There is a rail. The operator states she was going up the stair and grabbed the rail and when she used the rail to help pull herself up a pop was felt in the left shoulder along with a sharp pain.

It was initially diagnosed as a strain MRI showed a small tear in the rotator cuff. Ohio BWC is still investigating. It may be degenerative not work related.

Nothing identified. It was not a trip or fall on the stairs.

Shoulder Strain - potential rotator cuff tear
