Before the incident
Changing light bulbs on 15 ft poles.
What happened
Employee had been up in a bucket truck an estimated 15 feet changing light bulbs around the Engineering [REDACTED] with fall protection. Employee had finished the task and lowered the bucket down the ground. He transitioned from the bucket onto the truck. Mr. [REDACTED] then proceed to step off the truck and estimated 1.5 feet onto the lot where the truck was parked. Mr. [REDACTED] stated that he stepped off the truck onto the parking lot backward. When doing so he mistakenly placed his foot on the edge of a sidewalk step causing him to loose his balance and fall backward striking his tailbone against the steps.
