What happened
When the EE dropped the piece of aluminum scrap sheetmetal into the hopper with gloves on the piece bounced back up and to the right striking the EE 's right index finger between the scrap and the hopper. When the piece hit his finger it seemed to have had enough force to pop his finger open inside the glove which resulted in the EE having to get six (6) stitches.
