What happened
The employee had placed a waste wheeler on the tipper of a rear load truck. The employee activated the tipper to lift the waste wheeler up to dump the contents into the hopper of the rear load truck. As the employee activated the lever to lower the waste wheeler back down he placed his left hand on the rim of the waste wheeler and at that moment he felt a needle stick him in the left hand. The employee described the needle as one used to inject horses. The needle was not in a trash bag.
