Employe was replacing the seals on an air cylinder that came off the Martin [REDACTED] on the FT Press Line offline to the equipment and next to the Comco Press on a workstation after replacing all the seals the employee reassembled the cylinder The employee wanted to ensure the seal kit was installed properly and not leaking The employee using and airline nearby with house pressure of 85 PSI pressurized the cylinder and listened for leaks The top seal plate was not secured and blew off the end cap of the cylinder striking the employee in their left hand and forearm
