The employee was completing a run of a 24 die position die He was in the process of stacking smaller bundles together to create full stacks for the shrink wrapper While picking up one of the smaller stacks at the point where one conveyor ends and another begins his finger was pulled underneath a roller bar designed to guard the nip point He immediately pulled his finger free due to the pressure being applied which resulted in the fracture and laceration
